Warm growing orchids are native to the far east countries. The flowers usually emerge in the summer months with pendulous spike of 20-40 flowers or more.

Culture Tips

Light
The plants require medium to high levels of sunlight

Humidity
50-60% humidity ideal

Flowering
Flowering season in India will be between December and August. However we have experienced them flowering during the remaining months.

Watering
Water as the plant approach dryness. Overwatering should be avoided. Do not allow to completely dry up

Fertilizer
NPK 20- 10- 20 is ideal for growth. Flowers are induced by 6 - 30- 30. Fertilizers should be flushed well with water.

Repotting
Repotting is necessary every year after flowering. Well drained medium of coco-fibre, charcoal or bark mix could be used. Select the size of the pot according to the size of the root size.
